With the economy in turmoil and no creditable analysis on where we go from here, a drastic shift might be right around the corner. One might ask is this current economic dilemma based on lack of jobs, uncontrolled debts, or on goods and services being provided within global competitiveness. Regardless of these or any other reasoning’s, there is a historic shift happening within the world economy that is affecting all of us from first to third world countries.

A linguistic landscape can be found on any school campus – it is essentially the way in which language – both written and verbal – is used to covey the beliefs and foundations of an organization. As a fall semester student teacher at Lawson Middle School in Cupertino, Ca, I had the privilege of experiencing and discovering exactly what Lawson values: the whole child.
Can we say anything new about innovation? That was one comment in our most recent survey. Maybe there’s nothing new to be said, but there better be something new to be done.
